⚠️ When to seek urgent care
Call 102 / 108 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately if your vertigo or dizziness occurs with any of the following:
Sudden weakness or numbness on one side of the body
Slurred speech, difficulty understanding speech, or facial drooping
Sudden severe headache (worst headache of your life)
Double vision or sudden visual loss
Inability to walk in a straight line even when sitting still feels okay
Fainting, chest pain, or palpitations with the dizziness
New one-sided hearing loss with the vertigo
Continuous (not episodic) vertigo lasting more than 24 hours
These can indicate a stroke, brainstem event, or serious neurological cause.
